Sunday morning coming down #4

In the words of my man rexroyale this represents a:

[v]ery good chase between Magnum in his 308 and some drug dealers in a 1970 Pontiac GTO. NB how Magnum acknowledges that the GTO is a faster car than his Ferrari (which is awesome, even though the 308 is gorgeous as well)

My dad sported a mo and a Selleck-esque shorts back in the day so my sister and I have always found Magnum PI rather reassuring. I bet the girl you almost killed is pretty hot when you wipe the blood off her Thomas ;)

Onya Stuey!

I wasn’t able to see this year’s Paris Roubaix bike race thanks to British Eurosport’s dedication to the Superbikes, Spanish handball and some pool competition somewhere… I know there would be people grumbling if the tables were turned, but come on! It’s the best bike race in the world!

It was great to Stuart O’Grady win though, especially after being part of an early failed breakaway. I’ve always liked him, he seems a genuinely decent Adelaide lad and always digs deep for his team. At the start of today he was probably looking to help Cancellara rather than thinking of himself but it all came together and it was a bloody good ride.

So not only does he have an Olympic gold, a maillot jaune but he’s the first Australian to win L’enfer du Nord. No wonder he was crying after he won. It would have been nice to see his post race interview though…
